What happened to the Live365 server reporting?

Post by risefm »

Hi!

Great job with the new RTB 1.0.0 however it seems to be having some problems gathering the stats from my Live365 server. It claims it's Offline?!? After adding the server "www.live365.com:80/play/248028" it asks for the password which i type in just as in the beta version. But now it claims the server is Offline and it doesn't do that in the beta version. I can't see you've mentioned anything about changing something to the Live365 part so just wondering if i'm doing anything wrong?

Please help me asap - everything else is working, only i'm "missing" half my listeners in my stats. :(

I have discontinued support of Live365 since beta 4, unfortunately it was getting too restrictive to work in their environment and I couldn't gather stats from my free account (can't afford an account) so stats for them was dropped.

Sorry,

First mention was made here http://forums.radiotoolbox.com/viewtopic.php?t=328 and I think I put it in the news but as I do not have my full news section up you can't see it.

Well, i guess i'm stuck with the Beta 4 release. Anyway, it works fine in the Beta so why not implement that code in v1.0.0 and then just let it be an unsupported function without further development? :?

well the thing is, I am not sure what broke it, and with no way of testing it, I am not sure what to fix. That's why I can't support it anymore, I will look around in my code and see if there is anything obvious, but I can make no guarantees.
