Hi,
Am a Shoutcast newbie. Am interested in implementing a shoutcast client. While the protocol etc are clear... I'm a little unsure on how transitions between songs happen. To be specific, In Internet radios, as a song is being played the corresponding details (song name etc.) are shown to the listener.
When the transition to the next song happens, how can the client retrieve the information pertaining to the next song and display it.
My guess is that the Metadata would contain this info. Can anybody confirm this and provide greater information on the metadata.
