I've been asked to look into writing an interface between an ascii file and/or a command line interface to send song title information to a server. I see above that admin.cgi seems to be what's needed. I look but was unsuccessful at finding the paramters that admin.cgi accepts beyond what's shown above. Specifically are there parameters for artis and album as well as the song's duration?

no there are not.

actually there are parameters to update the currently playing song and artist by hand, just not the duration. i dont remember it offhand, but either a google search or a winamp forums search should help.
