Does RTB count itself in?

Post by sairwas »

Hello,

when looking at my server stats page, I sometimes manage to catch RTB in the listener list:
Winamp-Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; RadioToolbox/v1.1.1)

The question is: does RTB count itself in when reporting the number of listeners? That is, if there are several RTB instances running and eg. RTB 1 happens to get the stats from the server just as RTB 2 is connected, do I get an extra "listener"? Or is the program clever enough to filter out all other RTB entries in the listener list?

Thanks for the useful app, by the way.

icecast2 would be the only server where that might happen.

Thank you, Icecast2 is exactly what I'm using. I did some tests to verify this, and it seems that RTB sometimes shows one "extra listener" due to the app counting itself in, even if only one RTB instance is running.
