Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4
Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4 is now available.
This version adds:
Save File Dialog Can now determine the difference between one and multiple stations
Single Instance enforced
File opening from command line (not from other instances yet)
Open URL feature completely reworked to allow for webpages and smarter error detection
Save Now works and Radio Toolbox will keep track of an open or saved rtbx file
Copy and paste now much more user friendly
Paste url to Station View to automatically build a station
Column resizing done at more appropriate points
Drag and Drop to Desktop to instantly create Station Playlists
Track Graph now added and can pop out from interface
Station name can now be automated from stream in the event that playlist doesn't provide it.
Better Icecast 2 parsing
Comprehensive Station History added finally
Various new stats available in station
All sorts of bugs smashed along the way.
Fixed Exception issues with Graph
Graph Time and Listener indexing added
Graph view range following added
Padding for high listener counts added to graphing
Undockable Graph Window Added
Please test this one very heavily, I'd love to know how it can handle different SHOUTcast v2 setups.
NOTE: This is a development build and should not be used in production. Only use if you know and understand the possible risks that come with using unstable software.
Side note: If all goes well this will be the last alpha.
*Removed, this is a legacy version, please check the forums for a more current version*

Just click and hold the Graph Tab and drag it out to where you want the window.

Yes, Resizable and scalable based on the conditions of the station. Also keep in mind that the way the graph keeps up with things is based on the selected station in ListView. This will be changed in the final version. If the graph seems to stop updating just make sure your station is highlghted (selected) in Station Index.

By the way, if you want to see a really neat trick. Delete all your stations, go To File -> Open URL and then type in http://www.gdradio.net/
Select the first option in the list and click import. Give it a second and it will setup your station for you.

Yup if you notice the disabled subscribe option. This will allow you to link to dynamic lists like shoutcast.com and get all your servers auto setup and kept up to date based on who is relaying. No more keeping track of servers. That's the goal ultimately. Not in there completely yet which is why it's grayed out.

Re: Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4
icecast stats working like a charm. I will post an image in a bit, but i have 4 servers listed for 4 different stations and 2 of the graphs do not show the listener numbers at the bottom. the graph works great, just doesn;t have the numbers so you cant tell what the number of listeners is from the graph.
other then that, looks and works great

Re: Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4
Is the graph compressed in view? This happens when there are huge changes in listener numbers. Graph Compression will be improved in the next build. If you wait for the graph to build out or scale the window down you should see the numbers pop up as it zooms in a defined section.
Not terribly intuitive yet but it shows promise.
I would love to see screen shots

Re: Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4
you are correct, if i resize the window to only include sections with listeners (remove the part before the server was added) then it zooms in on the appropriate number and shows the graph numbers.
Excellent job Jay!

Re: Radio Toolbox v2 Alpha 4
Eventually all tabs will be allowed to be popped out except for Summary. This was just a test to see how usable this feature could be.
