The spaces in the filenames are lost

Post by sme »

This time I've been searching the forum before posting :p

I don't know if this problem comes from winamp, shoutcast or RTB.

When I publish the current song on my page all spaces inte hte filenames are gone.

I've looked at the data that are posted to my page and there is a total lack of spaces in it.

Anyone have a clue? Tried unchecking and checking "Convert %20 to space" in winamp. Makes no difference.

That would likely be a problem in your source tool.

Source tool? Like what?
When I stream from another computer the title names are correct. And what I do on the web is simply output what I recieve throu the FORM object i ASP. I don't mess with the string in any way.

btw... RadioToolbox just shutsdown now and then. Anyone know why? (Win 2k adv. server).

I haven't had any problem with the plugin. i can still stream. It's RTB that shutsdown. Nothing else.

Well. I can see that I can't get any help here. Everything works except RTB but you still blame everything else. :p

Anyway. I've put together my own program to send the titles/info to my webpage. That was easier than getting RTB to work correct.
