Using your streams
I have noticed, for a long time, listener connections that last for days (if i let them). These agents show Gstreamer, MusicServer, etc.
I know people like to record streams to rip songs from it, but do you ever hear of people playing/relaying our streams onto a different platform etc? I have often wondered this and what benefit it would serve them if they do this.

Do you mean aggregators like TUNEIN or Radio Garden? Or do you mean someone just relaying your stuff and saying it is theirs?
