Are they useful? How about put up your station over at shoutcast directory? I believe you get more listeners from there. Ive found that a couple of them bring in some more listeners. It helps if you already have a base of users willing to vote you to the top of the list. :) These sites are getting ...

Re: Web Based Flash Player for Icecast
It supports icecast but i cant seem to get it working with shoutcast. Ive done some more research and it turns out that flash will dfinatly NOT play shoutcast streams. From what i have read it is something to do with shoutcast using non-standard icy headers for the stream which flash cant handle at...

Web Based Flash Player for Icecast
It supports icecast but i cant seem to get it working with shoutcast. Havnt tried steamcast servers yet (sorry Jay). Should work. A great way to get more listeners in and doesnt require a seperate player. I came across this a few months ago : http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/ It even supports Auto...

Using Radio Topsites ?
Ive been experimenting recently with listing some of my stations on radio topsites. This involves putting a link to the top-site directory on your homepage. The topsite list then ranks you according to visits (or votes). Im not usually into these automated submissions but ive been getting some traff...

Ive considered running a IRC channel for the radio as shoutcast allows you to list it in the YP but to be honest my front page shoutbox seems to do the trick and we get lots of shout outs and radio chat going on : http://www.level-1.org.uk/ Its also much easier for people to use the shoutbox compare...

Hi Chris It really depends on the server you are using ? Awstats gives you LOTS of nice features and displays them in graphs. http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ I succesfully monitor my icecast and shoutcast servers with AWStats. Shoutcast's supposed w3c logging needs a bit of a tweak before it will re...

are your passwords for each source unique? No, they are all the same. I presume its required for them to differ ? Im gonna try that now... Also if you are using an icecast tool which does not give an option to change the username, then set the username on all sources to \\\'source\\\', won\\\'t be ...
