the firewall is already off. i was reading on the icecast mailing list and found that the config file has a problem where it accepts connection only from local host which is specified in

<hostname>localhost</hostname>

i need help configuring icecast. i downloaded and installed the latest server its running and i use sam2 as a source it can connect fine to the server but i cant get the stream from other computer in the same network i.e. my laptop. no firewall nothing i dont think i need to forward ports coz this ...
